Arches completed today, very long and depressing period without the lude so she got thoroughly tec'd on the trip home haha

Welds were sanded just after this

Some filler, body work guy gave me some professional grade stuff for arches, inside done too

Sprayed with a rattle can currently as the whole car is getting done at the end of spring

Overall came out v well for a 2 day job, inbetween fixing a few motorbikes :)
Cant take any credit for this at all though as the owner did literally everything on this arch rebuilld himself, even the metal was cut and bent to shape from a bare sheet... unreal work IMHO

Anyways, thats her done for now, no doubt ill have more updates to follow with the interior and so on

Quick update to say the lude wont be going turbo

Wanted to do something different but the cost far outweighs any pros :(

Will still build her with sensible mods and a map but nothing past cams

Good work on the arch rust. That is something I couldn't do myself. Those nuts are really for summer use IMO. I have similar ones and the salt in the winter ruined them.

Engine bay looks good :)

Word of advise... With the bonnet dampers, keep them clean and dry as much as possible. Water tends to collect around them due to their location and they corrode.

Where are they popping out, of the ball joint? There should be circlips to prevent that happening.
