Decisions decisions!!
I'm looking for a new motor and I've narrowed it down to 3 possible candidates.
- Honda Aerodeck from the late 80s, like Nathan's
- Ford Granada Scorpio 24V Cosworth estate
- Ford P100 with 2.0L Pinto
They each have their pros and cons.
Pros:
Aerodeck
- cool as f*ck
- added retro coolness points
- I love pop up lights
- its a Honda shooting brake
- cheap insurance
Granny
- its big
- its fast
- its powerful
- its rwd
- its a cossie
P100
- can put a top on an make it a cool van
- rwd
- its big
- great Pinto engine so plenty of tuning options
- reliable as there's not much on it to go wrong
Cons:
Aerodeck
- fwd
- rare
- parts will be hard to come by (why Nathan has a whole spare car!)
- not that big
- not that fast
- would need another car for taking to drifting
Granny
- hard to find a cossie estate
- auto only
- its a ford
- its nicknamed a granny
P100
- commercial insurance so not cheap
- got a lot to do before I can really start modifying (hubs etc...)
- its a ford
Which would you guys go for out of those 3 considering it all?

Actually Nathan, you'd love my idea for what I'd want to do!
Slammed, gloss black respray, limo black tinted windows, nice set of Wolfrace Shark alloys on it, remove the rear seats and build a sound system in the rear. Ok, you'd probably not like the sound system part, but the rest I reckon you'd like

i voted aero. but if you had a toyota supra 3.0 turbo converted to a pickup with the back end full of them speakers for boats that dont mind getting wet then it might have been a different story.
now theres a thought for you.
