Gaskets for decat pipe.

Got this waiting to go on. the manual states for ring gaskets for the cat, of which i have 2 new. can i use the ring gaskets or do i need the kind in the picture? if so does anyone have a link for a set?

You won't be able to position a ring gasket well enough to do the trick, they should sit in a recess so you know they're in the right place and seal properly.

What ID is your decat and exhaust?

Looks like one of my decats? The joints are a bitch the only option I found was to get them on eBay for a uk prelude with 2.5" bore and open out the holes but tbh just bin the joint and put silicone sealant in its place, it's all I'm using.

Exhaust aside from mani and back box is standard as far as im aware, i will measure the decat pipe this evening.

Decat pipe is 2.5" so im guessing those ebay jobbies will do the trick? more then i paid for the pipe for 2 gaskets though!
