But when i ordered the base model strut brace from ebay i had to basically bend it to get it in

Emailed the guy amd he saod i must have a type S

Checked the chasis code against something online and whatever it came up JBsomething or other indicated it was an S or SH

All 5th gen top mounts have the same 3 studs and all shock towers are the same distance apart. The only difference is the Type-S and SH I believe as they have 2 additional studs to mount the OEM strut brace...
