Is this potentially part of the reason my 3g idle is hunting. Only seems to do it when in neutral / park and when the engine is not thoroughly warmed through. It seems to clear itself once the engine is up to full working temperature, and only happens if I stop at lights etc... and put it in neutral when still cold/ warm.

Yeah that is typical for a faulty FITV. Usually the thermowax plunger just needs wound in a bit.

This might be where the problem lies on my aerodeck as it looks to run the same set up as the ATR.

Thanks nafe, i'll take a look. Am I right in saying the symptoms will diminish as the weather starts to get warmer, come spring, or is the problem progressive and needs fixing A.S.A.P.
