Accord Type R injectors and fuel rail on prelude
Just a quicky.
I'm modifying the ATR manifold to fit to my lude for temporary measures to mot the lude and drive it whilst I wait for jrsc parts to arrive. (4 months and waiting).
Can I use atr injectors and fuel rail so I don't have to grind out the ports?
Thermal gasket will block the air ports and the unused nipped will be vacuum capped. Brake boost turned.

the atr injectors are designed to use the port they have a better pattern than the lude ones so i am assuming if your gasket doesnt block off the the injector port it will be fine

My injector wiring has all been soldered and connected to rc injector harnesses.
I test fitted the atr injectors and with a little cutting to the atR injector plug they fit rc connectors.
My atr injectors have been stood for a while but I'm sure they will work for a month of 2.
Just need to tap the atr manifold and plug everything as the gasket doesn't cover the holes.
Also I have spent the best part of 2 hours removing the intake manifold gasket. Still not got it all off. It's concrete.
Petrol, paint thinner, loctite gasket remover all failed.

Yeah the car will run nicely on atr injectors, I fitted them along with the complete mani to my mates type s, like you say it's a total kebab to remove the stock mani but the atr is a breeze.
On another note I can't do the porting for you atm, I'm having enough trouble doin my own bits in work and were getting locked out of the area with the pnunatic tools, I'm gutted.

That's ok. I'll stay naturally aspirated until I get all the supercharger sorted.106pete wrote:Yeah the car will run nicely on atr injectors, I fitted them along with the complete mani to my mates type s, like you say it's a total kebab to remove the stock mani but the atr is a breeze.

It's far easier to get a fresh mot on it then worry about fitting the jrsc again and a propper tune.
I can fit the jrsc in a few hours now.
