Pretty much factory standard 1998 2.2 VTEC manual Lude, apart from Eibach lowering springs (30mm) and a Thatcham electronic immobiliser. Just coming up to 131,000 miles. I bought this just over two years ago from another Lude Generation member, Tom. It comes with loads of paperwork, old MOTs etc.
I had it MOT'd about two weeks ago and it passed with no advisories.
Cambelt and water pump was changed about 4,000 miles ago and has been serviced withing the past three or four months.
I had the wheels refurbed and they have matching good Avon tyres, all with 4-5 mm tread.
Interior is good and has a JVC radio/CD player. There is wiring to the boot for a subwoofer (but there isn't one with the car). Seat are in excellent condition.
VTEC works as it should with no smoke (although I don't drive it hard) and doesn't drink oil. I've always run it on Shell V Nitro petrol. 4WS is also working properly, as is the electric sunroof.
BAD points: bubbling rust round the rear arches. I had a bodyshop work on them last October but the rust is showing again. Some of the paint has imperfections and a few wispy scratches if you look closely.
The rear bumper has some of the silver 'Prelude' lettering missing and the number plate holder doesn't fit perfectly.
The passenger door handle doesn't sit flush (see photo) and the passenger electric window goes slowly but does work.
It's basically an honest, straight car with some of the wear you'd expect from a 17 year old vehicle. Looking for £900. MOT rund until mid August 2016, and I am going to SORN it from September so buyer will need to tax it.
