Stem Seals for H22

Post by Drax » Thu Sep 17, 2015 11:25 pm

as part of the valve removal kit i bought a few months ago, i bought a new set of stem seals.

as ive gone to fit them today, the blue exhaust side seem to big :? compared to the origonal that was on there.

the intake side stem seals all fit fine. anyone had this problem before?
i thought stem seals for h22, b16, b18 and k20 were all the same size?

btw im not getting mixed up between the exhaust and intake side btw, i know their both a slightly different size.

It fits, but slips off far too easily for a seal.

No idea on brand, just added them to the basket along with valve tool. Maybe I need to get oem ones.

Might be for his mate's head. But still, I'd always go at least genuine Honda for seals and things of that nature.

Yeah they shouldn't just pull off, I fitted a supertech one on the wrong side by accident and it most defiantly did not pull off.

Yeah they don't look right. Once fitted they shouldn't come off without some brute force.
