Wheels Refurbishments

Post by nitin_s1 » Tue Apr 17, 2012 1:47 pm

I think I may have found some wheels that I always wanted but they are kerbed and in a wrong colour.

Hopefully I have offered him a lower price to what he was actually asking so if he accepts I will buy it.

What's the normal price for getting some wheels refurbished and painted a different colour. ?

£40-£50 is a normal kind of price for simply blasting and powder-coating (depending on the colour). The additional price for repairing the kerbing all depends on how bad it is. If it's not that bad, it could be something you simply blend back in yourself with a file and wet and dry.

The highlights will bump the cost up as well.

I think i payed like £30 per wheel when i had my mugens refurbed. I think it was about £30 extra for the kerb repair on the 1

Bronze.. delicious, its the colour I want but I just cant justify spending money on wheels when I'm saving for a house at the mo :(
Would like to see how it turns out though!
