Hi Guys,
The lude I have is running approx 250 FWHP and about 170lbft torque.
The car is running an OEM Honda clutch and 8lb flywheel.
In general she drives very well.
However, from a quick start (standstill) the clutch slips when changing at full throttle into 2nd gear.
As the clutch is fine usually, I dont think the pressure plate is up to the job of producing enough grip.
I am intending on getting the car remapped with a few other bits on her soon, but need to get the clutch sorted before I do. Hoping for about 270-280bhp & 180-190lbft torque.
The intention will be to use the car just on weekends with the odd trackday and RWYB at the drag strip.
I'm considering either an ATR clutch kit, but again worry that this may not be up to the job with intended use.... or
buying Ratty's Stage 4 Competition Paddle clutch... However think this may be a bit too agressive.
I'm just looking for the right clutch for the job and hoping a few of you who have beefier builds, may be able to advise.
I'm intending on buying a Genuine Honda Clutch release bearing either way.
Many thanks beforehand
Marc
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Doing myself out of a sale I'm sure but I love my competition clutch stage 2 clutch.
My old atr clutch handled my superchargers 288bhp and 215lbft of torque fine but needed more grip on harder starts.
The stage 2 is perfectly daily drivable being only a tad bit more heavy than oem but grips like my stage 4.
