No timing equipment, just a load of fun for everyone involved!!

Basically just a run up to a cone, round and back again!

Regular JPOC members get first refusal as it's obviously a popular event, so get over there, sign up and get involved with posting etc and you'll make yourselves higher on the list come next time!

tad embarassing then, as it's only temporary!

The LED one's are off as I'm redesigning the layout of the LEDs!!

Engine idle problem now sorted, now sits happily at ~600rpm and no bouncing, yay!

So after fitting my coilovers 3 weeks ago, I've driven around and let them settle, but they were still too high for my liking. As they were, the car sits about 10mm higher than it did on the Eibach springs that were on there previously, and it just looked like it was on stilts!

The great thing about these BC Racing coilovers, and I'm sure many others, is that the ride height is set completely seperately from the spring rate, so no matter how low you go, you still have full travel within the shock.

Advice from PAW suggested that the front is lowered upto 5mm more than the rear, as this will aid with high speed stability, and as I will be doing a fair bit of motorway travel, I took this advice!

So I set about, dodging the rain, to lower them!

The rear was dropped by 20mm, an approximate drop of 40mm from standard.
The front was dropped by 22mm, an approximate drop of 42mm from standard.

And so to the pics.

This is how it looked the other week after they'd been fitted:

I think I go it just about right, a very slight nose down broken suspension look, but overall not scraping the floor.

Oh, and of course the obligatory "ooops I slipped, FCUKING SH!TTING BOLLOX" photo taken after I'd washed up, finger was pretty much covered in blood by the time I'd finished all 4 shocks!
