A big box just arrived from the Netherlands with my new fiberglass doors  . @gb-lude David you did a great job of packing it, I gave it the once over and I cannot see any evidence of them being damaged in transit 8-)

Awesome! So happy it all worked out! took a small loss but very very glad you still wanted to buys them off me.
Had to fabricate my own crate and protect the doors. The doors weigh only 11 kg.. so its almost 20kg of packaging all together :D .

Let me know what you think of the doors!

I'll get them out of the box later this week and have a proper look but I doubt I'll find any damage. It is going to be another year before I fit them :( But this was a rare opportunity to get hold of these

The possible scenarios on how/why that might happen are racing though my mind :?

It will be next year that the car jumps up in power/weight so hoping for a big increase in performance, in the region of 3 seconds a lap

I got the doors out last night to give them the once over and they have survived the transport. I was surprised at how durable I think they will be. While they are light they have a weird mix of rigidity while being flexible :? I had them on the scales and they are somewhere between 5-6kg.

They should have survived being packaged the way they were. Mine survived and they were just packaged in one almighty cardboard box (About twice the width of yours) with just one piece of cardboard between them!

Do the right thing. Strip out those heavy power mirrors or fit some lightweight ones.
