Re: BsBB1 Half leather interior
OK, sadly @bb1boy had to break his lude
, however, it's interior will live on!
I was looking at getting the bolster on my drivers seat re done as it's done around 200k miles now, however when this interior came up I had to have it.
Some last shots of the original:

The rest of it was pretty mint, just the drivers seat showing it's age a bit.
I figured the easiest way to get a new interior home was to take the old one out and the tools with me
So after about ten mins...:

And outside the collection address!

Didn't have loads of time when I got home, but wanted to get started so:
Old door card insert:

Alcantara one. BTW, it looks brown, it's not! It's the colour it comes out on camera. It's a nice charcoal grey.

I noticed that the rails on my seats were longer, I guess it's because it's a UKDM and we are generally a little taller in the west??
Anyhoo, decided to swap them over so my rail end trims fitted plus mine were in better condition.
JDM/bit rusty:

My UK ones (sorry for the blurry shots lol)

Also swapped my seatbelt catches over too, as again they were a little better and UK so no wiring etc.
(UK on right)

Whilst having a poke around, I noticed a few minor things, but I'm a fussy sod:
Notice the springs not attached to the.....errrr springs. And also the cable holder had worn and no longer clipped.

Much better (for my OCD):

More small pieces scavenged from my old seats:

And this is where I had to leave it. About 80% done.
Just the front door cards to replace and some other very small stuff, plus I'll be getting the top of the sexblocker re-trimmed to match.
This shot is after I have cleaned the leather too so it looks a little raw, it's actually in ace condition and I'm expecting great things when the leather touch-up and conditioner is applied in due course.
Also, I have yet to clean the alcantara sections, so I'll get some proper shots when it's all done. I really just wanted to put this up for reference and as a 'before' shot.

I have to say a big thanks to @bb1boy (and his mate Shane), it really was an absolute pleasure to deal with you mate.
More to follow....
