ive currently an aem v2 cold air pipe on my car, is there any diference in type s one and the v2

Not had either, so couldn't say. But just to confirm for the others, is this for your Si-R/Type-S or for the CD7 H22a conversion?

Depends what you want out of it, the type s is very good but the aem v2 was designed to compete with it.

When I had my motor built, the type s was starting to cause a restriction to the air flow past around 225bhp whereas a CAI like the v2 would have been less restrictive up around this power range. There is probably more lower end performance with the type s intake and it has that special OEM look :)

Are you getting the motor built or staying around the stock level? Staying stockish type s, building up the motor go for the AEM v2

OEM dynamic chamber if you want the OEM look, it's what Honda designed and best for performance/fuel economy etc

AEM V2, just for the sound and will be better if you plan to modify your car later on.

Type S for stock and tuned. AEM V2 for HIGHLY tuned for max airflow in the High RPM.
