H22 adjustable cam gear EXPERIENCE? (US Racing)

Post by TheHondaTuner » Thu Sep 15, 2016 7:49 pm

Hey guys. Does any1 made good or bad experience with adjustable cam gears? After milling my head 1mm iam a half tooth off. (ive been told that its not normal, unfortunatly i didnt check that before milling)
US Racing Camgears are 80€ only. Iam afraid of extreme belt wear like soem old HKS gears caused.

Can anyone suggest me affortable camgears?

The thing to worry about really is making sure there are enough bolts to ensure they're not going to slip. I've run SK2 Tuner cam gears with 6 bolts each, and I have a set of AEM Tru-Time gears with 5 bolts each to go on my new built motor. I'd be weiry of just 4 bolts and certainly wouldn't consider using 3 bolt ones.
