Alright thanks for that lads I just need a few extra heads to try resolve this. Some good thinking there, I think I will ignore the gauge for now the pipes are stone cold then go mildy Luke warm,
Nathen it had taken roughly 1-2 mins until it went to max temp.
I've seen stuck thermos and the top pipe roasts as it can't circulate.
I may try resolve this code zero incase it is dicey earths causing this problem or a bad ecu.
Thanks very much and all future comments and ideas are welcome

Take the sensor out of the engine and put it in a cup of boiling water, with just the ignition on it should give a reading. Let it cool down and check the gauge drops gradually.
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

Put the sensor into a boiling cup of water and turned the ignition on and the gauge is at cold? Might need to swap my cluster, have a spare set here

Ok so I moved the main Earth off the starter motor to the gearbox now my gauge seems correct when the ignition is in the on, but try to turn it over and nothing at all. No starter turning

It's probably the sender unit as aposed to the gauges.

Fingers crossed, I earthed the starter then to the chassis while I have the main battery neg earthed to the gearbox, all seems good, temp perfect, doesn't budge past middle, thermostat opening and even the fan is turning on now, praise the lord haha,
Happy man, shall see if it's still the same tomorrow right now I'm off to work abit more relieved

Time to book the NCT and get it on the road :)
