I've worked on a couple and driven one years ago...one had a gearbox issue can't remember quite what it was, maybe syncros... They weigh quite a lot due to all the 4wd 4ws v6 turbo ness going on and there for it didn't feel that quick, my BB4 felt faster to be honest.. But there is something very cool about them and I they sound nice too..

Only ever worked on one, but from that experience - expect every bolt you ever attempt to slacken to shear as you try. And keep a spare engine handy. And spare Active-Aero kit. And a spare ECU. And be good at wiring fixes ...

Not sure i would, looked at a couple 2 years back and almost bought one, but after speaking to various people about them, I realised i would be able to drive my prelude every day where as the GTO would always having something wrong with it! Gearboxs are always having issues!!fithotblonde wrote:Thanks jebb4 he did tell me there is a bit of a crunch in the gears but not wich one. By the sound of it there cool but a pain to live with.
