That's pretty much what I'd concluded. I really appreciate you taking the time to make those calls though Steve! :)

I think to get my lude to PAW at the start of April I'm going to simply pay my neighbour who does it for a living. I can't do with the added expense of test and trailer purchase/hire at the moment, but I will have to in order to trailer the lude to and from the track. A colleagues husband actually gives trailoring lessons, so I've got that on my doorstep as well pretty much :D

So as i passed my test in july 1996, then i can still tow over 3500kg MAM?

I passed my test in 1962 and I am allowed to drive a Steam or Motor Roller(gawd help any one near me though! :lol: )

Those were the days! The days of red linen-backed licence books with separate pages for the different categories, I mean.
I've probably still got mine somewhere; well, who'd voluntarily give up his authorisation to operate a pedestrian-controlled vehicle?

Yes Sailor I remember the milk float with the control handle sticking out the front. May I also add that weights were in tons and hundredweights. For those who only know metric. A hundredweight is 112lbs ;)
