@vtectom You've reminded me of something that happened with the muzzie - went out to a local pub for lunch one lovely sunny day, all the nice cars were out and there was literally one space left in the car park...next to a gleaming new Ferrari. It had about six youngsters round it taking photos on their phones and you could tell who the owner was as he was sat near it on his own in the pub garden, with a big grin on his face.
I carefully parked my cheap 40 year old Ford next to it and all the kids went 'WOAH' and slid over from his car to mine.
I was a bit embarrassed TBH, but the look on the smiley guys face was proper

I must say I've never bought a car (or anything) for others attention, it actually took some getting used to when I first got the Mustang as everyone was letting me out and journeys would take longer as people wanted to talk about it etc, which is nice of course. However, seeing the ludes slowly start to have a similar effect is quite heart warming, I honestly do look back at it when I park up, even after 15 years of owning it and still think it's just a great car, regardless of badge that's on it / spec / whatever. You hope that those people discovering them just now will be the owners of the future and will seek them out.
