can i make a h23 vtec from a h22 vtec and a h23

only reason i ask is as some of you no i now have just picked up a h22a5 and have a h23 with 16 bent valves currently in my project lude , so could i make a h23 vtec from the pair of them least i would have all the cambelt related parts to do the manual conversion on the h22
success is the ability to go from one failure to the next without any loss of enthusiasm :D :D

It's possible and there are write ups on the net, but there is quite a bit of work with oil ways and other stuff, plus the 2.3 is not designed to rev to as high an rpm as the vtec.

looks like a bit of internet bashing is needed on this one then ,just thinking what with one being in pieces and one being out what the hell mix and match them

Bybthe time you have the bottom end balanced, new gasket set, sort the oil squirters out, bottom end bearings, sort the pistons out amd a mew timing belt set up youre gunna be knocking on the door and thats if you build it your self
