Ha yeah I think he's just playing dumb ;-). The new car should be being picked up today and once it is I will start a forsale thread but I can tell you for sure the arbs and strut braces won't be there ha.

I also went to change the oil and fit a magnetic sump plug only to find mine is 16mm thread and not the standard 14!! I guess it was stripped at some point, bit of a bummer but ordered a new 16mm one now as changing the sump can wait till I get a alloy one :-)

Tanabe arbs plus poly bushed drop links
Tanane strut braces all round

Relagged the manifold

And just done a small session at castle Combe with some of the bits fitted, here's a video. Sorry ull have to fastforward the first bit I can't edit it ATM.

Nice few bits you've got there :)

I was going to use a 60mm alloy half rad for a Civic, but Rich advised me not to use it as it wouldn't be up to the cooling capabilities I'd need. I assume the same would apply to you as well :?

Haven't got sound on this computer, so I'll check your vid at work tomorrow ;-)

I've read about the yanks who have used the smaller 46mm rad and never had a problem but I think if I had a expected engine spec like yours mate then it could strougle?

I did a lot of hanging back for a mate in his type s to video him on his first track session ;-)

Just updated the new 2013 spec list

Here's a little guide to running fn2/ep3 calipers with thicker atr disc

The out side of the atr disc had to be used to fit over the outer diameter of the 5 stud hub (fn2/ep3 disc won't fit) so to allow for the extra thickness simply take off the carrier and file off this lump

It's fairly soft so a large file takes 5mins

Get it flush with the rest of the metal and take a little extra off the outer edge as it tapers. A little fitting and seeing the gap doesn't take long, think I have 1mm gap size now I'm quite happy with.

Next on my list is a 2.5' collector pipe on my down pipe, I've done a few now but fancy welding this one myself so it should be interesting :-)

Latest update, got the mot'd sat and it promptly broke down half a mile later. Luckily it was just the main battery feed wire falling out of its crimp, not sure how yet as its been like that for 2 years no problems.

And then on the way home via a tyre center to get my leaks sorted a dopey blond in a 106 nearly rear ended it, luckily only one side of her brakes worked (standard on a 106) and she skidded beside me rather than into!!

I have my new exhaust tested now and it's a little on the loud side, for starters it's still the eBay manifold but now with 2.5 collector and no space for the cat anymore, not even a decat I've just gone straight through.
The exhaust is a hks from a evo 4 so it's 2.5' before the silencer then 3' and a 4' 3/4 tail pipe, I wanted to remove it but haven't had time yet.

It's loud, 99db according to the iphone. And sounds like a proper ricer machine, hope to get a bung to quieten it down a little.

New wheels are looking good, the supra 16x8 with r888s feel much more planted and stable, I don't mind the odd wheel look and I have the supra 9' rear to test out once I fit the 5 stud hubs.

Next steps are a full engine service, and rear brake conversion

It was also nice to finally get out and try dino's gearbox. Very rapid through the gears, takes alot more effort to keep up with it but looking forward to the lsd on track rather than the stock m2a4!!
