Bonnet spoiler

Rite so I have got my hands on a bonnet spoiler for a very good price

sort of ....
But it is attached to the bonnet still and the guy can't seam to get it off to post it not sure why ? So my question is what are they held on with ? I thought it must only be a couple of 10mm bolts and some pu sealer ?
Can someone who has one let me know how they are attached

Depends. I used the 2 10mm bolts and some elch p1 pu sealers. When i took it off to repaint again. I would come off and i actually snapped it. PU when applied properly is a bitch. My vans bodykit is stuck on with PU adhesive only, it aint going anywhere.

That's what I thought as I have never actually seen one up close I told the guy on Facebook to just butcher it off if he has to as any marks will be sorted before it's painted anyway
And tell me about it I had a carbon fibre bumper lip on my old ATR that I just pu sealed on and I spilt it in 3 places getting it off

i wish that's all It was stuck on with but I'm not sure how capable the guy is as he can't seam to get it off the bonnet

Yet I meant to say it won't come off without splitting it in half. I snapped mine in half removing it. Luckily it's fibreglass and I never snapped the top section.

Probably not the best time of year to attempt removing it. Get him to ship it to someone near the equator and leave it out in the basking sun

I actually told him just to get a grinder with a cutting disk and chop the top of the bonnet off and send me that and il remove it myself

I would but it's to much work to weld the eyebrows on the bonnet again and plus he's quite far away hence why I would rather pay the £12 to have it sent to I just want to get my hands on it as I have been looking for one for the last two years
