Rich's new black "lightweight" BB4
So...on Saturday, after about a year of actively looking for a new BB4, I did an almost 800 mile round trip to pick up this little beauty:
Some of you may recognise her as ADS1's lude (cheers for selling her to me bud !)
I'm over the moon to be back behind the wheel of a BB4 after a 4 year break!
Going to do some bits and bobs over the coming months - probably starting with tidying up the bodywork a little bit - so I've started this thread now to log my progress.
So basically - it's goodbye to my blue BB4:
... and hello to my new black one!
Looking forward to getting started!

Re: Yay!
Cheers, yeah she's a good one. Needs a bit of TLC but what car doesn't. Drives lovely! Was a real pleasure driving home for 6 hours, didn't get tired or bored once.NafemanNathan wrote:Looks like a gooden Rich Great to see you back in lude after so long

Re: Yay!
Well I've just put it in my garage (finally - after 4 years of being in this house - bearing in mind the sole reason for buying a house with a garage was to put my lude in it).. anyway, now that it's in there I am going to strip parts off it to put into the new one. Basically undoing the mods I made over the years, but the main one is the suspension - cost me a small fortune so that's going to be the first thing I take off.Drax wrote:whats the plans with the old one?
The body needs welding all over - I don't think it can be saved, so I've got 2 options really: either I break it or someone else does.
