that though did cross my mind! do you think my makita will be up to the job :lol:

i have found a set of 17's 4x114.3 which i would prefer tbh as the tyres are cheaper and will also fit over kurts brakes :lol: would the centre caps be the same for them as the 16's?

I recon that if they're the same or very similar offset then the caps will fit. I don't know the rules with which centre caps from which size SA3Rs are interchangeable, just know they do vary size I bought those others that were deeper :roll:

And maybe a DeWalt???...

i think the only variation is with the size of the wheel so a 18" wheel centre cap wont fit a 16"

The diameter of the caps that didn't fit my 16s was a perfect fit, but the height of the cone was taller, which made me think it may have been offset related. But then you could relate that to a different size diameter wheel as well I guess.
