Aaron's 2000 VTI Motegi
Aaron's 2000 VTI Motegi
Hello everyone!
I am back on the prelude scene.
After selling my first lude 3 years ago and my S spec to Nitin around a year and a half ago I was full of regret....
Have been on the lookout for a decent manual for ages and when one popped up last week I didn't hesitate to get and pick it up yesterday.
It's a Red Motegi - 77,000 miles. Been well looked after. 17 stamps in the service book. Was a CAT D - minor damage which was sorted.
Going to enjoy the car for a little while before I start doing anything with it. But will upload photo's at some point this afternoon!

Aaron's 2000 VTI Motegi
So as promised - here are some pictures of the Lude i picked up last saturday! Have enjoyed every drive to work this week will list the plans underneath all of this!!
The pictures definitely do not show the body work issues however having said that, it is not an urgent matter
It came with 17 stamps in the service book including cambelt, waterpump, tensioners etc being done, had the arches fabricated and its been fully undersealed also.
The plans are as follows -
- First and foremost new tyres, prior to me buying the car it had been sat in a garage for 3 years and new tyres are a must!!
- The guy who owned the car originally worked for benson and hedges... it has the cream interior however its not very cream as it stands so will be shampooing and thoroughly cleaning the whole interior!
- Get the valve adjustment done as i don't think its been done.
- Clean the engine bay and replace the rocker cover
- Purchase some coilovers. Will probably go with Tein Flex (potentially used if there are some for sale in good condition)
- Upgrade the exhaust system. Either Skunk2 or a custom one.
- Need to get a new alarm - The door was replaced as it was a Cat D however the barrels were not replaced and the remote key doesn't work
- Upgrade the audio
- And the last one will be to get the whole thing resprayed - once all of these things have been done i will look to add some power.
This will all be done progressively. as i said above, I have regretted selling my previous 2 so i will be keeping this one!!!
