went round to have a look at this today
amazingly the car fired up and the idle was good but sounding a bit rough and some intermitent nasty noises from the head
loads of condensation out the exhaust so took the spark plugs out and the chambers were full of coolant

gutted for you mate

still on the up side might see you back in a lude

If I'm back in a lude it's only temporary

Already got a list started

New headgasket
New headbolts
New valve stem seals
All rad/coolant hoses being replaced with silicon hoses

Can't think of anything else I might need.

Ill also get the head checked over.

Cars back on the road with fresh mot as of today.

Engine has been swapped for an h22a7 with everything from the h22a swapped over to save any issues of different obd. Replaced all the coolant lines with a silicone set an the front lower balljoint boots.

Plan is to rebuild the head on the original engine an then refit it.
