OK then, so I picked up some bigger injectors as you can see above and had them refurbished. 560cc, should see me to a decent power level.
Then I went to work fitting a balance shaft remover kit, I decided to do this for oil pressure reasons and because replacing the balance shaft bearings is expensive and quite involved requiring specialised tools.
The kit starts with the girdle:

I also took the opportunity to strip and internally clean it out:

Mainly to reside in here:

I had them installed by these guys:

They did a great job at a really reasonable price. I also got them to line hone the bottom end to accept the crank and got the crank journals polished to boot.
