17" on a 2nd Gen...............BAN!!!!!!

Is this the JDM Gold top with the 150bhp engine. I remember seeing one on ebay which was a jap import. Was about to head down to essex and guy it but a 3rd Gen came up close by.

Yes my car has a gold rocker cover but I'm sure that it,s 145bhp from the factory for ukdm unless the imports are a extra 5 bhp

The JDM cars usually are more powerful than the rest of the world's, but looking at your car, it doesn't look like an import as it has the UKDM number plate sized mounts and rear bumper cut out.

I love your wheels by the way. What size are they, cos I'm trying to work it out

And don't listen to Ratty about 17s on a 2nd gen. Trust me, 17s on a 2nd gen look awesome!!

My car has "14 alloys lol
I really need to lower it as it looks like a monster truck atm
I'm undecided about my choice of alloys I'm thinking of either "16 or "17 fitment alloys

or my ultmate choice would

I have now a changed the number plates to the square import spec as i think they make it look a bit different

Not all 2nd gens got square number plates so you can never tell. UKDM were 135bhp, a certain jdm model was 145-150bhp.
17" on a 2nd is a big no no. Too big. Crazys car proves it.

16" max. IMO.

You might be right when i was at my local honda dealers ordering a new front wiper blade & arm they were having trouble finding the wiper blade on their system. Even when i gave them the vin number they were adamant that my prelude was a jap import.They ended up ordering the wrong parts too. Even though my car was supplied by a honda dealer from dorset new to it,s first owner in january 1986
