Probably a noob question but why do you have pots 1+4, and 2+3 paired?... is it for equal pressure in the pipes? as it divides down due to those pistons firing at eth same time?

What's the advantage of a 4-1 exhaust over a 4-2-1 exhaust? I almost bought one for my golf as that's all you seem to be able to get performance manifold wise. Also, I thought the ideal manifold was straight btw?? I didn't realise there was so much choice in design :lol:
