I used to use that Magnetec stuff but switched to Shell Helix and it seemed that the car felt 'better'. Both were 10-40 as well so no sciencey weight stuff whatever.

What's the actual proceedure for using this stuff? I quite fancy flusing the project's engine out before I start her up to test she will actually run with the custom harness.

you just chuck it into the oil. run the engine for a while (differeing opinions on how long and under load or not) and drop it out. Its mainly kerosene in these and it loostenes up carbon gunk by watering down the oil.

personally I will be running fresh oil through and dropping that so there is minimal oil left with the additive in it.
