I hope you mean my nature, cos that's definitely not a winning look is it?

Cheers everyone and thanks for the reppage! 8)

Merlin:
Still the whine of other JRSC ludes on youtube that's keeping me going with this project. I can't wait either! :scaredtoss:

Nathan:
Copy away bud, the engine enamel is so easy to use and gives a nice finish, with the casting rough look, it's almost a wrinkle finish.

As for gaskets, no instant stuff for me, unless any leaks of boost appear - they shouldn't as everything is flat and true. Luckily I had a very helpful seller in the US when I bought it who bent over backwards to sort things out - he sourced the new mount plate and also a whole set of gaskets direct from Jackson Racing (Well Moss Motors). All just before they discontinued all of it. 8)

I'd save my money personally and just by some decent degreaser and put some elbow grease into it. I was very impressed how it all came out. Just leave some in the runners, move it around with something, I used an old toothbrush and let it sit for a while to really eat into the grime. To remove was just a hose of water rinsed over and dried with a cloth. Easy peasy. I will/have been using it on alot of my engine bay.

Dino:
8) Getting there!

Yeah, taking the pics becomes more of a pain as the job goes on, I keep forgetting to snap certain bits and it's not easy to use my white iPhone with black, grimey hands! If you hang in there the ABS removal is coming soon - I've been blessed by the gods and all the flare nuts are coming undone with little effort at all - no cutting or bending front lines, just clean out in one removal. 8)
Probably means I'm destined to hash up a pipe flare or two then!

Woah! woah! woah!.... "Copy"?! :nono:

Yep, I keep all my old toothbrushes for exactly this kind of thing ;-) Is that the stuff in the red tin that we can see in the pictures?

I love the Supercharger whine.

Can you use the JRSC on an ATR I/M.

Nathan: Yes that's the tin! Come on, we all know there's copying here and there - inspiration shall we call it!

Ratty: Nope - sorry bud but thought this would be obvious. :stupid:

I'll explain anyway...ATR intake manifold is just a one piece design like the Skunk2 intake. You need the standard Prelude intake manifold because this one is split into three parts - Top intake or plenum, then the IAB butterflies plate, then the lower intake part with the individual cylinder runners like the one I've made look so sexual! :P
You only retain the lower runners part for the conversion.

I take it you don't have an ATR intake then, but are maybe enquiring for future project ideas? Come and join the supercharged crew - it's a little lonely! I don't even have proper membership yet. :?
