Fitted the heat-wrapped stainless steel manifold & downpipe that I got from 106pete.

Feels like there's more torque & less of a step on vtec :)

Also here's a pic of my kind of drive-way

Looking good dude, I'm wondering about upping my d2 coilover springs. Do you happen to know what they are standard and what you upgraded to? I think I may build my own spring tester to find out as online shops list various rates?
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

Cheers Pete :)

The standard D2 spring rates are really 'road' friendly - 12kgs front & 5.3kgs rear.
With Rich's advice i've upped the rears to 10kgs :o
Brilliant on track with the right geo set-up but very 'bouncy' on a typical uk 'b' road.

Weight reduction progress.

Recently lost motors from sunroof, rear wiper & aerial.

Today removed front bumper (a real pig of a job!) & took out resonator to
fit long arm AEM cai & also ditched the fog lights.

Probably 10kgs total.

Still got to take out the air-con & cruise.

Went for a test drive of the manifold, de-cat & AEM combo - OMG! :o

Snetterton on Thursday :D

Great day at Snetterton despite bum droppings conditions - The Prelude loves the mixed conditions :D

I really need a better video camera so sorry about the quality.

1st is a little tussle against 2 Clio race cars;

2nd with a track prepped ek9 that has been stroked to 1.8 litres.
At the end of the video he backs off because he's trashed the gearbox & or clutch

I also have footage against a 250+bhp DC5 but the sound is screwed :( but I did out-pace
him

The manifold & intake mods were excellent. Previously it would hit the rev limiter in 4th gear
towards the end of the back straight - now it's before I'm half-way along 8-)

This Clio went off trying to get away from me.

I forgot to add that the videos were taken with a 16 stone passenger who pleaded
for a ride & also I realised when I pitted that I had forgotten to stiffen the dampers
after the previous wet session
