A nice Long informative post - that's how I like 'em!

Someone's been busy on the calculator! Looks good bud, alot of dough but I definitely want to get some eventually so may as well jump on a group buy if you can get any discount. 8)

I know the Innovative mounts look a little more refined, but they've both been tested and proved in big engine builds, so either doesn't bother me. Red and black is all good, my colour scheme anyway.

In terms of the hardness rating, I don't know how hard 70A is in comparison with the Innovative mounts 75-95A. There is a huge Turbo build 4th gen running the ESP ones (blue coloured car) but I think he has the front mount/bar too???

ESP do an alternator relocation mount too for anyones interest in a bulk package. I'd buy one too, but I need the alternator high to tension the long belt for the supercharger on mine. :P

I could probably do with some mounts

since I have uprated the engine, it seems to move about alot more

due to the extra powaa or knackered mounts i'm not sure

those ESP ones are bit too rich for me tho

Yeah, I'd also had ESP quote for the Alternator Relocation bracket when they quoted for the traction bar. He basically knocked $40 off, for ordering both together. It was then no extra postage for the engine mounts on top of that and he also removed an extra $25 from the mounts.

There are several alternator relocation brackets that they do (At different heights) Some mean you loose AC, and one can only be run with the traction bar as it will foul on the OEM cross member.#

I am now going to be fabricating my own alternator relocation bracket as I plan on lowering it, and also using a D-series alternator and an S2K crank pulley, but I can still enquire about them being an addition to the engine mounts.

innovative also do an alternator relocation bracket, which drops it down to the AC spot, and again, just like the engine mounts, it looks a lot more refined.

I personally would prefer the Innovative mounts, but I have a feeling ESP will work out cheaper. Not sure on the lead time though (I'll find out, when I enquire).

Ah, lead times!

I know some people were posting problems with slow production and shipping items out - can't remember if it was ESP or Innovative though!?!? :?

Might sway a decision better.

It's all that torque you have 8-) My OEM mounts are still in good nick but even a wee blip on the throttle and you see the engine twitch.

Can you get a temporary second-hand mount until I get this group buy up and running?

If it helps, I have the Innovative alt relocation bracket and their 65A mounts. Very happy with them, My research pointed me towards innovative rather than esp for the bracket (from memory I think a few had issues with the ESP ones cracking at the welds in the US)
