AirCon delete - any real benefit?
...so I'm thinking about removing all my Air Con gubbins seeing as it doesn't blow cold anymore and I never use it anyway... are there any real pro's/con's to doing this?

Weight saving and a little crank power to be gained - very minor though being a clutched pulley, so it spins free when not in use.
I binned mine and havn't looked back. I was surprised how much the compressor and the bracket weighed alone. then there's the condenser, all the brackets and pipes. If you're that dedicated the heat exchanger under the dash is quite chunky top remove.
Plus it's one less thing to worry about fixing and breaking again! Oh and removal is a free fix too!
