Too much to run mate, i'm possibly going to college for 2 years and want a nice cheapish car to run, for less than 3 grand, and for me that's a Honda, and I have been looking at Preludes for sale ever since driving one about 10 years ago. Maybe when I am rich and successful I will import a minter for top dollar. I just love everything about them, the size, the shape, the handling...everything. Except rust

Oh me too! I could have bought 2 decent R32s at the current going rate with the amount of money I've spent on Preludes... But there's just that thing about Preludes :D

No other car like it eh, it has real character, something missing from most new cars these days.

5 grand!

That seems like a lot to me. I had my 5th gen imported 7 years ago with 62,000 and that was 6 grand.

I absolutely love my Prelude but £5K would definitely scare me off!! I reckon for that money you could buy a decent BB4 over here and get it put back to mint in a body shop here - I bought mine with 55K on the clock, admittedly a little rust and a couple of dents, but I've been quoted around £300 to get all the rust out, then I'll have a few dents to smooth out. After that it'll be going to another shop to get the repairs sprayed plus stone chips sorted... I'm hoping to have some change from 2K all in :scaredtoss:

Plus, if you buy a mint import, it's only a matter of time before that rusts, whereas you can repair rust now and take measures to ensure it doesn't return?
