Yup that is kind of what im now planning. I have a Euro/Bubble rear lip that I'm going to cut up and make into spats and have a big hole in the bumper right up to the floor of the boot.

So really instead of channeling the air flow im just going to remove everything I can that's standing in its way. The only way I could get it any higher is if I cut out the boot floor and get a flat panel welded in place. Although I think I'll keep the boot floor as is for now.

This is what I'm contemplating as otherwise there really isn't much point going any higher than what you see I did. It would make more sense to just seal it off.

I think Rich removed his boot floor and welded in flat didn't he? May be worth a second look.

removing the boot floor is a really good idea and will tidy up the airflow underneathand allow you to go higher with the bumper cut and be less ugly from behind

Thankfully the 4G has the number plate in the bootlid. Attempting this on a 5G would be rear impossible with out relocating the plate somewhere else.

:? Who do I know who could weld me a new floor? :?
