Personally I'd go as LG now. Think I'm going to slowly move (well, more of a fast walk) away from PUK.

I like it over here. I like to check both forums for info. I try to help with useful information but most people know more about ludes than I do, so I just feed on local knowledge.

Plus when i ask mundane and ridiculously stupid feeble questions I get a quick and straight forward response, so its all good

I think when I've got enough time I'm going to make a fresh new start on here and blend my +50 page profile thread from LB with my 17 page profile thread on PUK ;-) Then and only then will I consider myself moved

Don't forget to tick the "Profile update" box when adding profile updates! Makes it easier to find specific updates in the future :)

What does that actually do?

Oh and I'm still not getting notifications of new posts in threads. How can I manually subscribe to threads?

EDIT: Scrap that... One's just come through. Just very slow

Basically you do your updates in "profile update" and they are grouped together, so you can find your updates even though loads of other people have posted in your build thread

Yep, it's very useful :)

If you want to manually subscribe (or to unsubscribe) then in the black bar at the bottom of the page there's a link that says "Subscribe topic" (or "Unsubscribe topic").

Oh I see it now.

So if I wanted to recreate my existing profile thread from LB and PUK, I could literally copy each existing post I've made and paste it using "profile update" and no matter whether anyone else posts in the new thread, my posts won't be interrupted?... Their posts will always be at the end? That it?

No the thread layout is all the same, but your posts are highlighted in red and links are added to the top of the thread (top of each page).

See my profile for how it works: http://www.ludegeneration.co.uk/honda-p ... -t273.html

At the top it says "Click here to view important profile updates (11)", click that and it displays a list of the posts I've marked as important, just click on one and it'll show you the post :)

But yes, each major post you've made could just be copied over and marked as important, then you can easily jump to specific posts :)
