The black and tan wrap essentially do the same job, although the black gives a better finish when used with the black paint. The titanium exhaust wrap offers a number of advantages over the standard (see above).
Ideal for use on aftermarket stainless steel manifolds, not suitable for most cast manifolds as the extra heat generated inside the manifold can cause it to crack.
A 2” x 50ft roll is enough to do a 4 branch manifold. There should be more than enough paint to give the wrap a good coating (one can should actually do 2 manifolds).
Ideally, the manifold needs to be removed from the car to give better access and achieve a much nicer finish.
Locking ties really only hold the wrap in place until a heat cycle has been put through it, after that the wrap will be set in place and can’t be removed.
The first time you start the car up, the wrap will smoke quite a bit, this is normal and should clear after a few minutes.
Personally, I’ve used both the standard and titanium wrap. I wrapped the stainless manifold on my car with the titanium and found it much nicer and easier to work with, but I do prefer the finish of the black wrap and paint I’ve used on other manifolds.

The ties just hold the wrap in place whilst you fit the manifold.
As soon as you start the engine and the exhaust wrap gets hot, it goes hard and sets to the shape of the manifold.
Without the ties the wrap will just fall off whilst you’re trying to refit the manifold.

The titanium wrap is excellent. I wrapped the header of my previous engine with the same wrap and I confirm it is very good and easy to apply.
Unfortunately I can't say the same for the locking ties. These are quite unreliable and inconvenient (my opinion). I decided to use regular hose clamps because these locking ties gave me gray hairs. My 2c.

The ties are next to useless, I had some come through with some wrap I bought and ended up using standard jubilee clips.
All I see is marketing fluff and nothing to say why this product is worth the premium over other standard fibreglass exhaust wrap? For instance you can get some 2" by 50ft wrap from ebay for £15, why should we buy your product thats 4x the amount, does it keep 4x the amount of heat in the exhaust? Does it last longer? Is it made from a non fibreglass based material and therefore less hazardous to work with? I see the silicone paint is rated to 880c, some turbo exhaust gas can reach as high as 1000c pre turbo, will this silicone paint burn away or does it last as long as the matting?
