Either find someone breaking a 5th and get them to rip the metal tabs off and then bond them to your lining with sikaflex
or
pop the clips into the roof lining blob some sikaflex on the bottom and refit the roof lining with something to support the lining until it sets, then next time you remove it the clips should hopefully stay stuck to the roof lining.
