Getting some 15s for trackdays anyone got any suggestions for the best tyre size to run ? I'm thinking of 205/50 ?

225? a bit wide? I would have thought 205 would be a more common width.

225/50/15 I would have thought. 205 is more for a 7' rim.

Of course a lot of this depends on the offset and any arch work, lowered??
236bhp and 170ft/lb stock

215/55 (Slightly larger circumference) or 205/55 (Fractionally smaller circumference).

I'd say 225 wide would likely cause rubbing issues, though that's dependant on offset, lowering and arch work. And I'd say 195 is definitely too narrow for an 8" rim, especially if being tracked.

 I didnt read that it was for an 8" wheel. Any ideas what rubber your going for? A road tyre or something more track focused?

Probably just a higher end road tyre.

As I said they will be itr wheels. I asked an itr breaker and he said stock wheels are 8 inches wide but that seems pretty wide to me being that they have 195 tyres stock.

i would say the teg wheels would be 7 to 7.5 j. 205/45 would be what you want. As for tyres, uniroyal rainsport 2 or yoko a 359's are faultless tyres

That'd be too small if he's wanting to remain with stock circumference.
