yeah matey uk i could be wrong about the immobiliser as i have a jdm but you could either rewire it with a 4g loom and injectors or get a obd2-obd1 harness and use a 4g ecu

OEM PERFORMANCE wrote:You should keep in mind that the auto Prelude used a cam that gives up some high rpm power for more mid rpm torque that the auto could more effectively use . If you want a rev happy engine ,your going to have to replace the cam and possibly the ecu , which may have a soft rev limiter configured to the auto transmissions rev limit and different over all tunning geared to the auto transmissions very different characteristic, in your auto car with the manual versions . Its important that you consider reconfiguring your
car as close to the actual OEM , manual model as possible to take advantage of as much of the Honda engineering that went into the car because cars configured as Frankenstein cars don't usually work that well.

How does doing the conversion affect your insurance, is it classed as a modification?

Hi mate, I have a JDM 5th Gen ECU which was from an auto Prelude going spare, I had the ECU converted to manual for my engine swap. I also understand it has no immobiliser as this was a requirement for my swap. I bought it before I decided to go OBDI in my Accord, so it's surplus to requirements now. I'm looking to sell it so drop me a PM if you'd be interested buddy :)
