Yeah, I've had the same experience. I just buy the pukka HP ones now. They last for ages anyway, so it's swings and roundabouts in the end.NafemanNathan wrote:I've bought refilled cartridges from ebay twice now (supposedly from a reputable "refiller"). They've dried up within 2 months both times

I've only bought the cheap ones in the past as I only really use my printer/scanner/copier for the scanning element, yet it still requires an working ink cartridge to scan
But when they dry out it just tells me to "check cartridge" or "cartridge not recognised" and then won't scan again
Thinking about doing away with the printer/scanner/copier for a dedicated scanner instead.

I found that when doing some colour matching at home (ie. printing then tweaking, printing then tweaking) for a guy at work. When I came to print it at work (because my printer had run out of ink) it was completely different to how it had been printing at home! And I mean like the difference between Milano red and Cassis red!Lude-dude wrote:dont buy refurbs, colour is totally off on my canon printer

well, another update, he sent just one message saying - just to clarify, you do realise this is for just the printer only, no leads. this was a little odd as the listing says w/leads, now does this point to with leads or without leads
he must have figured he could get around the 1p sale by making the printer useless
. then to make it worse he wouldnt respond to messages AND opened a non payment case
cheecky fooker
,. still not to mind, i now have won an epson CX3600, and ink for these is around £3 on ebay, win win
and oh yeh i have now paid the 1p to close the case, however what he doesnt realise is my feedback well end up costing him more than 1p
