has anybody noticed that nearly all the low mileage minters are automatic !!!

And usually in what the Germans call "Book-keeper specification" ie, boggo-basic entry level.

Usually an old duffer buys them & then is too ill to use them much.

Oddly enough, the Type-R/VTi/Banzai versions usually get quite shagged very quickly...
