yeh i have boxes of leads, they do actually come in real handy i just couldnt be bothered with it. the seller of the epson, delivered in person just 10 min ago, all there, leads manual disc alls well that ends well oh yeh and i just brought a set of carts for £2.48

Bargain!

This thread prompted me to buy a new scanner. I was tired of the inks drying up on my printer/scanner/copier and rendering the scanner part useless as well. I won a supposedly brand new unwanted gift Canon Canoscan Lide 20 Scanner for £21.01. One of my collegues picked it up for me as he lives in the same town, but when I opened the box, it was missing the manual, the driver disc, the lead and the stand When I asked if she still had them, she said she was selling it on behalf of a friend and hadn'e checked in the box, she was really sorry and she'll ask him. She got back to me pretty quick and said she'd given him an earfull, but sadly he didn't have any of the bits.

Brand new in box unwanted gift Fair enough he might have robbed the lead for something and forgotten, but why is anything else missing?

Anyway, she offered me half my money back or return the whole thing for all my money. So I got half my money back, downloaded the driver from the net and used the lead from the Canon printer/scanner/copier I plan to simply bin
