I wanted to remove the axle to machine it right down and streamline it, but it can only come out one way due to the bearings and shoulders on the axle, and the TPS catch plate has been very neatly brazed on the other end so it can't be removed.

More new bits!

First thanks to Scott@H-Tune, Innovative Engine mounts with 95A hardness bushes. The quality of these things is great!...

I also managed to get Scott to get me a Mishimoto Performance Alloy Radiator, which is a 3 row 2" thick job and comes with a 1.3psi cap, magnetic drain plug and lifetime warranty...

And two Mishimoto S2000 radiator brackets...

I also had an HKS Hybrid Sports Oil Filter arrive the other day. I wouldn't normally consider spending near £20 on an oil filter, but a guy was selling it for half that and I fancied an eye catcher for when I first fit the oil relocation kit  ...

I've also got two Mugen Reservoir covers...

And finally (for now), I purchased Rob Quilter's Benen Rear Tow Hook...

Fingers crossed my Innovative Traction Bar should be following within the next few days as well

8-)

Yeah it goes in place of the front cross-member. A lot of conversions have it for clearance of the exhaust downpipe.

It basically preloads the lower control arm to help eliminate front wheel hop under acceleration.

Yeah I didn't take offence by that :)

To be honest here is no major advantage with these mounts over poly-filled OEM mounts other than these are designed for purpose and will be stronger (the housing). Another reason that sold them to me was purely down to the aesthetics and quality. Everything that eventually goes into my build will be the best and looks is definitely part of that. Poly-filled OEM mounts just wouldn't cut it for me

And they're not over-priced. You call them over-priced and then say how they're cheaper than OEM mounts, well the 3 innovative engine mounts are in fact half the cost of the same 3 standard OEM mounts before any poly-filling incurs ;-)

Not having a go by the way... Reading that back I sound well snooty!
