PM pop up notification or similar?

Is it possible to have a popup or something that gives a bit more notification that you have a PM? I have found that I have not been noticing them.

On PUK you got a little yellow bar from the top of the window, something similar would be usefull IMO.

I run a ad/popup blocker so it could be that

Also my PM's the avatar is at the bottom of the pm, rather than at the top (using Chrome)

I use a firefox adblocker, but this didnt affect the PUK popup.
