YES! Very nice route to go down indeed.
Looks like I'll be pipped to the post with the first supercharged prelude on here (wouldn't be too hard with my slow progress). The K20's, with the newer more efficient Eaton M62's + 9psi is always a safe 300bhp. Mine on the other hand will be an unsafe 300bhp.
I'm currently looking at a chargecooler design for mine using factory inlet chargecoolers from the likes of Jags, Landrovers, etc. Looks fairly easy to fab up for someone who can fab and tig weld. Looking at your inlet manifold, I think there's scope for you to do the same.
Can't wait to see how this progresses bud.
I would agree with the others to buy a standard 5th gen, switch the goodies over and sell the Type S on, but appreciate what your saying and it's your build.
Good luck with it.
Cheers,
Rob

Re: Charged K20a Prelude Type S
Yea I can't wait to get stuck in, dropped some more items off to the shot blasters today to get cleaned up ready for various types of coating so its slowly getting there!
The k20a does seem to have a high ceiling before any internal mods need to be done, there are quite a few people running 400whp with an unbuttoned stock engine for atleast a couple of years! Tho I have heard of a few people mention stripping gears at this power.
I forgot to mention that as I go along I will be selling everything I make as its cheaper to get 5 or 10 off of parts than just getting one made! (this is per unit). I should eventually have these parts available off the shelf:
Engine Mounts.
Alloy Radiator.
Alloy Rad hoses.
Gearbox Cable Bracket.
Accord Gearshift Mounting Bracket.
Fully documented but not stocked:
Drive shafts
Wiring conversion harness
Exhaust
Hopefully I will have enough info for the items immediately above that it will save people a hell of a lot of time to get these items made if they want too.
