Got a reply from the first guy:

"I can only say its badged as a Type R nothing on log book to say its not "
Is there anything on the log book to say it is?

His reply... "No just says Prelude"

Looks like it. Could have LSD, but who knows.

Well I've just had an acknowledgement and thank you from him, but gutted to say it didn't make the ad. Not sure if it was tactical :?

Still a very nice car and I'd be tempted myself if it wasn't 4 hours away, it's just the seller is clueless.

I have seen that its up for £1500 in auto trader, I dont think it will fetch that much. I like it all appart from the badly fitting bonnet. I would bid on it if I could and the interior is nice your right LD

I've people that own cars and don't even know what model or engine size it is, so you can't expect everyone to be an expert on Preludes.
But then it's his responsibility to know what he's selling.
No; it's the buyer's responsibility to know what he's buying.

Always presume the seller is a total spaz offloading junk & if he turns out to be a knowledgeable enthusiast, then it's probably the car to buy.

"Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing" ebay policy ;-) And he's in the trade as well.

Haha yeah. It went on Ebay last night for £900 A bit more of a fair price I think. I dont like dealers like that. I did like the car though. I got 2 people interested in my fronty now so It may not be long before I can get a lude agian if I can find one I like enough.
