sorted wheels at last!!!

Post by Dbo » Fri Feb 01, 2013 3:58 pm

went in the garage and dug out the ATS rims and got some brand new rubber on all 4

Image

put them on the lude and in silver they looked NASTY

Image

so in the garage went Aaron and me and about 12 hours later  and a lot of sanding and spraying ;)
first was the sanding!!!

stage one first coat

stage 2 second coat

third coat and wet laqueur

and stuff them on the lude :D not sure if they suit my lude but i wish i had gone 16"s years ago
the drive is amazing, more speed, lighter steering and the feedback to wheel is great. feels like a whole new car :P

good or not?

Preferred them in silver, but hey... Much better than the old rims ;-)

Looking good bud! Mine are going to have to go darker, I'm thinking gunmetal for mine.

16" wheels make for such a good drive don't they? :D
