How are these prices for window tinting?...

Post by NafemanNathan » Fri Feb 08, 2013 10:30 am

I've never had any window tinting done before, so can someone else let me know how these rough prices sound please? They're local to me and sound pretty good...

Just took my other car in to a local place to get the roof wrapped. I asked about window tinting for the Lude and he said he'd do the back 3 for £80. Was gonna ask the same question here as to whether or not that was a good price.

What, the roof wrap? It's on my new little runabout - a Toyota Aygo Fire. I'm paying £85 for that.

The window tints are for my Lude. Gonna wait until after MOT before I get them done though.

Ah ok. Sorry I thought you meant you'd enquired about the window tints on your other car as well.

Hmmm, that seems cheap compared to the place I've linked to :?

Yeah, think this guy is just starting out though. Found him on Facebook. He's done work for some of the local car dealerships though and the pics look good.

Seems about right to me Nafe, maybe a little cheap even. A mobile guy near me quoted around 200-220 quid for rear screen, rear quarters and front two. We use him at work and his film is top quality.
